Escape rooms are all the rage but we’ve had very few movie tie-ins. That is about to change with The Resident Evil Escape Experience! This unique Resident Evil experience is coming to Los Angeles starting tomorrow! Are you game? Read on…
From the Press Release:
As part of the Resident Evil series’ 20th anniversary, Capcom has teamed up with iam8bit to bring the franchise to life as an interactive escape room with the Resident Evil Escape Experience! This unique escape game experience is themed around the popular survival horror series, including some obvious and some not so obvious nods to various Resident Evil games, as well as the upcoming Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. This escape game experience will ONLY run for a limited 3-week engagement, so act fast!
There’s more to see than just the escape game itself – iam8bit will have an art gallery featuring Resident Evil-themed art in a celebration of all things Resident Evil. Limited edition prints of the art and other exclusive merchandise will be available for sale.
How big can my team be?
Up to six people are allowed in the room at one time. If you would like to organize a session of the room with a larger party, such as for a birthday or corporate team-building, please contact us: email@example.com. We have limited availability for private sessions that are not listed for public ticketing. All publicly listed times must be purchased via EventBrite; no exceptions will be made.
What if my team is small? What if I want to come alone?
You may purchase any number of tickets here. The other slots in that session will be available for others to purchase, and we try to fill the room completely for each session. If you want to guarantee you play with only your team, purchase all 6 tickets for the desired time slot at the same time (and, you know, have your friends Venmo you the bucks).
Is there an age limit to play?
The Resident Evil Escape Experience is based on a mature game franchise, so it is our recommendation that players be 17 years of age or older.
Is it hard to solve clues? What if I get stuck on a puzzle?
The Resident Evil Escape Experience is designed to be challenging in a fun way! People of all skill levels enjoy this game. Staff members will be on hand to help, in a pinch.
What do I need to bring?
You don’t need to bring anything! All materials will be provided. There will be a space to store bags and coats, and we will ask that you turn off and store all cell phone and tablet devices with us (as not to be distracted from the experience or spoil it for others via social media).
Will photos/video be allowed?
ABSOLUTELY NO photos or video will be allowed in the Escape Experience, but you’re more than welcome to take photos of the lobby area. See above for more details.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your session.
What if I’m late?
Don’t be late. Sessions start promptly at ticketed time, and you will not be able to join your group once a session has started. No refunds will be given if you are late either. No exceptions. Sorry.
What’s parking like around iam8bit?
Street parking on side streets off Sunset Blvd is your best bet. However, Mohawk Bend next door to us offers valet service (for an additional charge).
Is there somewhere nearby to hang out and wait? Can we get food and drinks?
There are lots of great places nearby to get coffee, food and drinks! In fact, we’re right next door to Mohawk Bend, a lovely restaurant that has both carnivore and vegan kitchens, as well as a bazillion beers on tap. Please be sure to allow enough time to get to your show start time, and be mindful of your alcohol consumption, as we do not admit intoxicated people.
How much are tickets?
The Resident Evil Escape Experience costs $35 per person. There are no discounts available anywhere online – no coupon codes at all. Don’t bother searching. Trust us, we would know 😉
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds or exchanges of any kind. Once you purchase your ticket, it’s yours… FOREVER.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. But please read the FAQ first.
