CINEPOCALYPSE Is Back With A Vengeance

Chicago-based genre film festival Cinepocalypse is back for 2018! This will be its second year with even more films, guests, and events at the historic Music Box Theatre. This festival takes place from June 21st-28th of this year.

The Music Box Theatre has announced that Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson and screenwriter C. Robert Cargill as Co-Presidents of the 2018 Cinepocalypse Feature Film Jury.

Cinepocalypse touts the largest gathering of genre films and fans in the Midwest- no small feat. They are proud to announce their first confirmed feature- world premiere of Michael Winnick’s Malicious. A cursed housewarming gift terrorizes a young pregnant couple when it unleashes a malevolent entity who will stop at nothing until it satisfies its morbid intentions. Starring Josh Stewart (The Collector) and Bojana Novakovic (Beyond Skyline) and produced by Shaun Redick (Get Out), this film is sure to thrill and terrorize its audiences.
