Some exciting news for Terminator fans! Reports have said the new Terminator movie (currently untitled) is set for a July 26, 2019, release date. Damn, that sounds very quick, they are gonna have to work overtime to pull that off in time! Our friends over at collider.com reported some news on the filming of the new project. “News on the Terminator 6 filming start date came out of an unexpected place over the weekend: The 30th-anniversary celebration of the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.” Collider continues to say, “Schwarzenegger will return along with Linda Hamilton for director Tim Miller with James Cameron and David Ellison producing.”

Just the names attached to this project read like an unstoppable powerhouse of creativity, and I have no doubt this film will appease all fans and draw in the new. Many of you remember the last time we saw Hamilton and Schwarzenegger together was back in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a film that has stood the test of time and still looks phenomenal after 27 years.
Many questions I am sure have risen since the news broke. Will this be a direct sequel to Judgment Day, or something else? I guess as long as it’s not in space, right? This installment may give the franchise the makeover that is much deserved.
