Raise The Black: The Final Season Of BLACK SAILS Is Almost here!

One of the BEST shows in television history is preparing to sail off into the horizon. STARZ’s original series BLACK SAILS is preparing for its final season which premieres this coming January. The show, which is a prequel to Treasure Island, takes place during the golden age of piracy and if filled with all the dirt, grit, drunkenness and sex you would expect. Set on the shores of Nassau, a once pirate haven, the show features such historical cutthroats as Ben Hornigold, Anne Bonny, Charles Vane, Jack Rackham and Blackbeard.

Though these historical figures are main players, at the center of the show are Captain Flint and John Silver. Flint, who is the most feared Captain living in Nassau, is consumed by a thirst for vengeance against England. Silver, who was in it only for the money, has become a leader of men unparalleled. Setting the stage for the final season.

BLACK SAILS pulls no punches when it comes to the life of piracy and this season will start and end in more blood than any other. What are some things we can look forward to? Blood.

This was never going to end well for anyone really. There are BIG deaths on the way and new reveals that will definitely leave you wanting more. Expect this season to be like nothing you’ve seen before in a pirate show. And though I won’t be spoiling anything ahead of the air date this January, I will tell you this, Game of Thrones has nothing on what you will see in the first two episodes alone!

So pour some rum, you will need a drink or four and get ready to raise the black in 2017. We all know it won’t truly be the last time because BLACK SAILS is a show that will live on forever!
